FLy Girl in Motion

Annnd with this I have officially decided to go ahead with turning my Fly Girl project into a comic.
Fly Girls heroine of course being my lovely Musca Domestica.
I've been playing around with her idea since 2010 but I've never actually had the guts to try and create her world. Well I've got the guts now and I've actually started on the storyboards for the first chapter. It's gonna be wicked.

A descipt of Fly Girl:
The story follows Musca Domestica, the youngest daughter of a royal family that rules over a world of insect-people called Betwick.
Because of their crazy Fly-Headed king, Enlil, the people of Betwick despise humans (though most of them have never even come into contact with one) and the human plane, which had once been open for anyone to visit, is forbidden.
Musca Domestica's mother was human and so as not to create rumours or riot, Musca existence isn't known outside the palace walls and likewise, she's not allowed to leave the castle. She spends her whole 17 years of life sneaking out, only to be caught and locked up again.
Her only real company being two of her more sympathetic older brothers, Phasma Todea and Maggot. The rest of her family treats her like a prisoner in her own home, both physically and verbally harassing her on a daily basis.
Musca wants desperately to belong somewhere but knows because of her roots she'll never be accepted in Betwick. She spends most of her time learning about the human plane in attempts to find out more about her dead mother, only to eventually realize that if she were human, she could defiantly find somewhere to belong in a world where millions of beings of different species and culture all thrive together.
From her brother Morpho, she learns of the hookah smoking cricket-man, Mortimer, who has the power to turn even the most buggy Betwicken into a human. Musca goes to him and makes a deal to have her wish granted, but with a catch and a time limit.
She has 60 days to search the industrial jungle of Chicago for a man named Jonathon Folk who owes her contractor a huge cash sum and somehow drag him back to Mortimer in Betwick or she turns back into a fly girl, forever.
All the while, behind the scenes, a sinister plot orchestrated by one of her siblings is coming into play that could mean the downfall of existence as a whole.

I mean, I could sit here for hooooours and go through the whole plot but its been changing drastically lately. Like there was stuff a few months ago that I was pretty sure I was going to go through with that has since been tossed out or changed. But anyways...
I'm excited that I'm finally making it into comic. So exciting.
Hopefully I can start submitting pages somewhere online soon-ish. Sooo excited!!!
